Kubi Client extends existing Email infrastructure investments by using the existing Exchange and Domino messaging platforms and proven SMTP infrastructure. Unlike traditional collaboration tools, Kubi Client uses existing corporate Email directories and authentication mechanisms, providing single sign-on and simple, accurate addressing of user names. Few, if any, IT resources are needed to install and deploy the Kubi Client; and there is minimal need for user training and support.

Kubi ensures secure and reliable delivery of data among users. The product automatically synchronizes Kubi Spaces, ensuring that all team members have the same information on their PCs, whether they use Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes. Kubi leverages the standard SMTP messaging infrastructure to deliver data between users and across firewalls. In addition, Kubi automatically and transparently handles certificate creation and exchange between all participants, making Kubi Spaces a known and trusted community of teams.

Innovative technology

Kubi Software's innovation encompasses both its user-centric approach to the application interface and its baseline protocol technologies. The company has created a new, patent-pending protocol that is:

  • SMTP-based, crossing firewalls and leveraging the proven worldwide messaging network;
  • XML-formatted, unifying differences between competing Email platforms; and
  • PKI-secured, transparently encrypting and authenticating sensitive data, using standard Triple DES (168-bit key) encryption. Eliminates the need for IT to manage this process. Kubi handles it all automatically and transparently.
