Kubi Software Proclaimed a DEMOgod™ at the Prestigious DEMO 2003 Conference

Honor Awarded "For Taking Collaboration to the Next Level"; Kubi Client Combines the Power of Collaboration with the Familiarity and Ease of Use of Email

LINCOLN, Mass. - February 25, 2003 - Honored for the company's outstanding presentation at DEMO 2003, Kubi Software Inc. was named a DEMOgod™ for taking collaboration to the next level. The company's Collaborative Email solution, Kubi Client, makes it simple for business Email users to work together in structured team spaces without leaving their familiar Microsoft® Outlook® or IBM Lotus Notes Email client.

The annual DEMO conference focuses on emerging technologies and new products, chosen by the DEMO producers from a broad range of personal technology solutions not yet unveiled. Debuting at DEMO, Kubi Client defines Collaborative Email by enabling spontaneous and secure collaboration within the familiarity and ease of use of Email.

"We are very honored to be one of only six companies chosen as a DEMOgod, out of 61 organizations presenting at DEMO," said Julio Estrada, Kubi Software's founder and CEO. "Kubi Client was recognized as a significant step forward in enabling individuals and teams to work together more effectively. As the first solution to transform Microsoft Outlook and IBM Lotus Notes Email software into an effective collaborative environment, we believe that Kubi Client will see strong adoption by business users to share knowledge and coordinate activities spontaneously and securely. We appreciate this tremendous honor from the producers of DEMO."

"Kubi Software clearly demonstrated how they have taken collaboration to the next level to a tough audience of DEMO attendees," said Chris Shipley, Executive Producer of the DEMO Conferences. "We look for companies that through their presentations share their vision, passion and enthusiasm for their products, which have been selected as the best of the best in new technologies. Kubi Software was certainly representative of what we look for in a DEMOgod."

Responding to the overwhelming preference of business users for collaborating in Email, Kubi Client consolidates all of the information and tools people need to work on projects - including messages, documents, calendars, contacts, tasks, and timelines - into a single view, within Email. For the first time, users of Microsoft Outlook and IBM Lotus Notes can truly collaborate with each other, extending the ability of teams to work together within organizations as well as with external partners. Kubi Client automatically synchronizes project spaces within Email, while protecting sensitive documents and restricting access to only invited team members.

Kubi Software's innovation includes both its user-centric approach to the application interface and its baseline protocol technologies. The company has created a new, patent-pending protocol that is SMTP-based, to leverage the worldwide messaging network; XML-formatted, to unify the differences between competing Email platforms; and PKI-secured, to transparently encrypt and authenticate sensitive data.
